Centrepieces can be compact like the Busket Surtout de Table, a mirror plateau surrounded by gilt water lilies and leaves or span the length of a table like the Tulip Centrepiece commissioned for the Chelsea Arts Club, which is two metres long and made up of three mirror plateaux with blue glass bases and thirty chased enamelled tulip candle holders.

Sconces & Lights

Jocelyn Burton is one of the most important makers of bespoke sconces and lights. Jocelyn understands the classical language from a technical, lighting and engineering standpoint. Her work is underpinned by an innate sense of harmony, scale and proportion.

A simple phone call can result in an exquisite masterpiece. A HB pencil will transform your idea through my vision to a sketch and finished drawing. I refuse to use CAD for the initial drawings as computer generated design lacks the freshness and organic energy essential to my work. The power comes from within. I will be with you throughout the journey from concept to an object , sublime and faultless. Nothing leaves my studio unless it’s perfect.

Jocelyn’s serveware designs are at once playful yet functional. Her creative vision reinvents these everyday objects into unique items that fuel one’s imagination and add an element of wonder to life.
I have also made items that reflect their owners.

Jocelyn’s craftsmanship begins with creating the most beautiful 1:1 drawings of what she intends to make, applying her creative vision and unparalleled technical mastery towards the interpretation of a client’s wishes.
